Hie public is invited to visit River Farm on this special day when experts from the American Horticultural Society, the Hemerocallis Society, and the North American Lily Society will be on hand to answer questions about daylilies and lilies, as well as other gardening questions.
Admission is $1 for AHS members and $2 for non-members. The 26-acre River Farm estate is located four miles south of Old Town Alexandria. It may be reached by taking the East Boulevard Drive exit from the George Washington Memorial Parkway. For detailed directions, call the Society at 768-5700.
