Wakefield School officially closed the 1986-87 academic year at its primary and grammar schools on Friday, June 12, with exercises held in the school’s auditorium. Although the primary- focus of the exercises was the graduation of the seventh grade class, which will enter the preparatory school next year, many students in the lower school, grades 1 through 7, were honored for academic and social achievements during the school year.
