vAiiigratuiauons and best wishes to Mr. and Mrs. Kermit Weakley who celebrated their 47th wedding anniversary on Sunday, August 9. Kermit and Katherine camped at Big Meadows from Friday until Monday, and were joined for dinner Sunday at Big Meadows by Mr. and Mrs. Joel Daczewitz and son Derek ofWoodville.
Mr. and Mrs. Sam Caldow and Mr. and Mrs. John Schultz returned to their homes on Saturday after vacationing for 19 days. They drove to Halifax, Nova Scotia, and from there took a bus trip around Cape Breton Island.
Weekend guests of Miss Mary Miller Wood were Rev. and Mrs. John Divers and daughter Betsy. The Divers are missionaries in Argentina, South America, and are in the United States for a six-month visit with relatives and friends around the Roanoke area. Mrs. L.J. Turner joined them for dinner Saturday evening and on Sunday Rev. and Mrs. Larry Hovis were luncheon guests. Rev. Divers is a former pastor of the Washington Baptist Church and Rev.
