Woodward reunion
The Jenkins, Clatterbuck, Woodward family reunion will be held on Sunday, August 16, beginning at 11 a.m., at the Rappahannock Recreational Center on Route 211 near Washington. “Friends, relatives and their families are invited to bring a covered dish and join us,” said a spokesperson.
Beahm/Bolen reunion planned
Descendants, friends and relatives are invited to the-fourth annual George Washington and Nancy Bolen Beahm family reunion Sunday, September 6, beginning at 10 a.m. at the Rappahannock Park on Route 211 near Washington.

Introduction to papermaking t *
RAAC is presenting a seminar on papermaking, to be taught by Jeanne Drevas and Nina Moore, on Saturday, August 22, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
It will be be a hands-on workshop, covering papermaking from beginning to end. It will also include a history of the craft, how to color and provide special effects.

Wharton family reunion

The deadline for entries for the Virginia State Fair is .Saturday, August 15. Plans are being made to transport entries (other than animals) to Richmond and back. The 1982 graduating class of Rappahannock County High School will hold a class reunion on Saturday, August 15, from 2 to 10 p.m. at the Amissville fire house.
