The Virginia Commission on Veterans’ Affairs will conduct its last public hearing on Friday Sept. 11 beginning at 10 a.m. in House Room “C” of the General Assembly Building (Ninth and Broad Streets) in Richmond.
The Commission is the state governmental organization authorized by law to study all matters affecting Virginia’s war veterans, their dependents, and survivors and make recommendations to the state legislature. At this meeting the Commission will take testimony from individual veterans, representatives of veterans’ organizations, and other concerned persons about any veteran-related problems or concerns which need to be brought to the attention of Virginia’s state law-makers.
