As part of a global event planned for Sunday and Monday, August 16 and 17, a group of county residents is organizing activities to participate in the weekend-long celebration of spirituality and peace.
According to the organizers, this “Harmonic Convergence” has emerged as the most recent Global Healing Event, building on the World Healing Event held last Deember 31. The vision, they said, is to generate a sufficient mass of participants in prayer, celebrations, gatherings and community projects, linked by the world’s media, to shift the collective consciousness of the world’s population from fear to love.'
Events of this magnitude, they added, call forth the life force of participants, and empower those involved to fully express themselves as planetary healers, to bond in the heart with others in genuine community.
There will be a one-hour global meditation at noon, Greenwich Mean Time (GMT), on Sunday, August 16, as well as a shared sunrise ceremony on the same day at selected sacred, natural and historic sites around the globe, the organizers said.
