A spaghetti dinner will be held Friday, March 23, at Rappahannock County Elementary School under the sponsorship of the high school’s National Honor Society. The dinner is $1.25 per person and is served from 6:30 until 8 p.m. The public is invited to support this club which will use proceeds for its spring activities.

The Sperryville Rescue
Squad is tentatively planning a beauty pageant for Rappahannock County girls to be held on April 21. All interested young ladies are asked to contact any member of the rescue squad for further details.
Two Rappahannock students have received promotions in rank as members of the Virginia 91st Air Force Junior ROTC Cadet Group at Randolph-Macon Academy. Michael Anthony Williams, son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas V. Williams of Flint Hill and a senior at Randolph-Macon, was promoted to first lieutenant. Fletcher King Eastham, son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas L. Eastham, was promoted to airman first class.
