Mrs. Sandra Kauffman of Luray was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Evelyn Linaburg of Luray and Ms. Carol McCune of Harrisonburg. The attendants wore teal tissue taffeta gowns with a fitted bodice and sweetheart neckline, short puff sleeves and- a gathered skirt. They carried bouquets of spice, peach, teal and ivory roses.
Mary Johanna Fox was flower girl and Matthew William Fox was ringbearer.
The groom's father was his best man. Ushers were Glen Kauffman of Luray and James Vega of Richmond.
Mrs. Ashanky, a graduate ofJames Madison University, is employed by Rappahannock County public schools.
Mr. Ashanky graduated from Salem College, Salem, W. Va., and is employed by Page County Public Schools.
A reception following the ceremony was held at the church fellow ship hall.
After their wedding trip to Baltimore, the couple is living in Luray.
