Susan Carr
Susan Pond Carr of Wayne, N. J., died there March 10.
She is survived by her husband William Carr of Wayne, her parents Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Pond of Sperryville, two sisters, Laura Mattingly of Burke and Katherine Spaaid of Houston, Texas, and two brothers, Mark Pond of Annandale and Jesse Pond III of Alexandria.
A funeral service was conducted March 14 at the Precious Blood Catholic Church in Culpeper by Father Albert Verbeke. Private burial was in the family cemetery in Sperryville.
Mamie Huff
Mamie Catherine Huff, 60, died March 14 at her home in Flint Hill.
Mrs. Huff was bom April 22, 1927, in Flint Hill, the daughter of the late Frank Lewis and Bertha Thornhill Lillard.
Surviving are her husband Frank B. Huff, a son Frank E. Huff of Flint Hill, twTo daughters, Connie Jane Huff of Flint Hill and Carolyn Kinsey of Front Royal, a brother Ernest Lillard of Washington, a sister Sallie Lillard of Flint Hill, and three grandchildren.
