(Warrenton Residency - Marshall Area Headquarters) DUTIES: Operates and maintains medium-duty highway equipment, such as trucks, loaders, graders, dozers. tractors, rollers, and backhoes, to accomplish tasks related to snow removal, preventive and corrective maintenance work, and state force construction. Performs manual labor and supervises laborers in performing road maintenance duties or operating equipment. Performs preventive and minor maintenance on equipment. Fills out equipment rental records and timesheets. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Valid Virginia Operator s license. Ability to operate trucks, loaders, graders, dozers, tractors, rollers, and backhoes. Must be physcially able to perform heavy manual labor. Ability to complete reports on hours worked and materials used. Ability to instruct others in operating and maintaining equipment. Safetv shoes are required in the performance of the above duties.
