Miss Carter Moffett, of
Washington, Va., was a delegate to the Virginia MidWinter Conference of 4-H AllStars which was held the past weekend in Natural Bridge. The conference included a business meeting and election of officers, a talk by 1968 Miss Virginia, Miss Cherie Suzanne Davis of Clifton Forge, and an oportunity to meet many international foreign exchange students in this country.
June Jordan, who is the proprietor of Fodderstack Pottery in Washington, Va., will leave today for Pensacola, Fla., where she will teach for the remainder of the school year. She will instruct classes in pottery making at the University of West Florida.

accepted the chairmanship of the financing committee for the proposed youth center in Rappahannock County. Announcement was made at Monday night’s meeting when interested area citizens met with officers of the youth center of neighboring Warren County.
