Several area students were semifinalists in the National Geography Bee held at Wakefield School in Huntly on Jan. 26.
Van DeBergh, son of Mr. and Mrs. James DeBergh Jr. of Washington and Scotty Updike, son of Mr. and Mrs. Randall Updike of Washington were fourth-grade semifinalists.
