As the attorney representing Front Royal before an administrative review board in Philadelphia, Mr. Crump defended the town against an action brought by the Environmental Protection Agency seeking to recover $90,000, an alleged overpayment for a federal water and sewer grant. In addition to defeating the EPA’s action for repayment, Mr. Crump won the town an additional $400,000 in water and sewer funding through an additional grant.
He served two years in the U.S. Army, and was discharged in 1971 with the rank of lieutenant in military intelligence. Mr. Crump lives outside Flint Hill with his wife, Kym and their infant twins.
Mr. Crump promised that he will work to assure that the 31st District receives fair recognition in Richmond. That task, he said, “takes dedication, resolve and persistence — and a strong voice in the legislature. I will be that voice.”
