support

To the editor:

We wish to thank all the citizens of Culpeper and the surrounding areas for the generous donations of clothing and household items they have given to the Culpeper Memorial Hospital Auxiliary Thrift Shop.

We also want to say “thank you” to all of our customers who support the shop.

The Thrift Shop, located at 219 . Waters Place, just off Culpeper St. behind Swan’s, strives to serve the community by providing good usable clothing and household items at a reasonable cost to the public. The volunteers, CMH Auxiliarians, who keep the shop open Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for sales and accepting donations deserve a big “thank you,” too.

These donors, customers, and hard working volunteers contributed a total of $24,000 to the Culpeper Memorial Hospital in 1989. Don’t you think all concerned should get a round of applause? EDWIN & EVELYN RODDA
