me Aimssvuie nomemaKers Club will hold its monthly meeting on Monday, April 2, at 7:30 p.m. at Amissville Baptist. Special guest speaker will be Beverly Butterfield, Fauquier County Home Extension Agent. She will present a program on “Money Matters,” especially updating household insurance.
Another guest speaker will be Betty Lentz, Census enumerator for our area. She will discuss the importance of returning the questionnaire, which should be done by April 1.
According to Eastern Div. Publicity chairman Gloria Deal The Rappahannock Athletic Association (RAA), is also forming another team for ages 16 to 18. Anyone intersted in participating should contact Billy Dodson at 937-4353 or Jon Heddleston at 987-8137.
The RAA is also forming an Umpire Association. All interested persons who would like to umpire should call Jerry Brown at 937-3036.
A reminder that Little League tryouts will be held on Sunday, April 1, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Stuart Field in Amissville and at Rappahannock Elementary School. Anyone who has not yet registered may do so on this
