Info its new quarters on the second floor of the Kramer-Eiland Building, across Gay St. from the Town Hall. The move was to be completed Tuesday, June 5 with the switch-over of telephone service to the new office. Residents should enter the front of the building and go up the stairs. The Extension staff requests that residents bear with them as they unpack the office, and apologise for any temporary inconvenience.

Government food distribution

The county's Department of Social Services will be distributing government surplus food on Friday, June 15 from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Social Services office on Gay St. in Washington. Eligible residents are encouraged to participate. Anyone picking up items for someone else should bring a signed note authorizing the pick up.
