The past few months have brought an impressive drop in the number of overdue books circulated by the library. This is always good news to those involved with library administration.

However, there are currently more than 45 people who still have books to return that are more than a year overdue. The library has a maximum fine of $1.50 per book, so returning them shouldn’t be too expensive. Consideration of this matter by those people on the list would be much appreciated.

A baseball bat and a book with the name “Marla” have been left at the library. If you think either of these items may belong to you, please check with the librarian.

The summer months promise to be busy entertaining. Stay posted for more news as events unfold. For more information about library services and programs, call 675-3780.
