Godwin was arrested in Brevard County, Florida in February. He was wanted there on a bail-jumping charge when he disappeared after being released on bond pending trial on a larceny charge.
He was extradited from Florida by Fairfax County, where he also faces several felony bad check charges, according to General District Court Clerk Pat Davis. Mrs. Davis said that Godwin remains in custody at the Adult Detention Facility in Fairfax County in lieu of $2,500 bond.
