nature programs
Become more aware of the natural world with summer nature programs offered by naturalist Carol Heiser at C.M. Crockett Park outside Warrenton.
Beginning Tuesday, June 19 in the park’s Waterside Amphitheatre, Ms. Heiser will present nature topics through hikes, films, talks, and guest speakers. This free familyoriented program will continue each Tuesday through Aug. 28.
Children ages 3-5 may enjoy Pebbles and Ponds beginning Wednesday, June 20 at 10:30 a.m. in the Friendship Shelter. Offered each Wednesday throughout the summer, the program teaches natural lore
