Take care, grads

This weekend marks the graduation of the Rappahannock County High School Class of 1990. We’re sure that, following commencement exercises Saturday morning, most of the graduates will head out for well-deserved vacations and revelry.

We urge them, in their celebration, to behave responsibly. During the past few years our high school students have compiled an admirable record of responsible behavior during tempting times, including prom weekend and graduation.

Unlike other places, we have happily put the newspaper out the next week absent any reports of accidents or injuries linked to too much celebratory cheer.

We hope that this year’s graduates will continue that sterling record. We congratulate their achievement in their graduation, and wish them well in their future endeavors.
