A total of 10 warrants were filed by individuals and businesses i against Godwin after he left town last Labor Day weekend. The Rappahannock County charges, which include felonies, misdemeanors and civil warrants in debt, are:
• Atlantic Food Services: two fel-; ony charges alleging he wrote bad checks, including one for 1869.50 and another four, written on different dates, which total more than $200.
• Pepsi-Cola Co.: one felony charge alleging he wrote three bad checks worth a total of more than $200.
• Paul Baldwin, of Baldwin’s Grocery in Washington: one felony charge alleging Godwin wrote three bad checks totalling $788.
• Arthur Neufeld: one felony charge alleging Godwin wrote him a bad check for $218.
• Lewis F. Shotton: two misdemeanors alleging that Godwin wrote him tow bad checks, for $60 and $61.27.
e Robert M. Miller of Warrenton, who was Godwin’s lawyer: a felony charge for a bad check in the amount of $600, and a civil warrant in debt totalling $4,760 for his unpaid legal bQl.
e William E. Wickens: a civil warrant in debt for $4,600 alleging failure to repay a loan and misappropriation of funds.
e Shirley Zim, of Washington Video Rentals: a civil warrant in debt alleging Godwin failed to return a videocassette recorder valued at $300, rental movies worth $210, $40 in late charges and that he paid part of his bill with a bad check in the amount of $104.
In addition to the Florida,' Fairfax and Rappahannock County charges, Godwin also faces a stolen property charge in the City of Fairfax and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and bad check charges in Comanche County, Oklahoma.
