Funeral services were held June 5 at the Freddy Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Gordon George officiating. Interment was in Mt. Carmel Baptist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Wayne Seale, Delmar Seale, Monte Morris, Bob Gallihugh, William Gallihugh and Wayne Gallihugh.

Lillian Knight

Lillian Elizabeth Knight, 81, of Front Royal died June 5 in Warren Memorial Hospital.

Mrs. Knight was born Sept. 7, 1908, in Rappahannock County, the daughter of the late John W. and Bertha Elliott Bennett. She was married to the late Enous Corbin.

Surviving are three sons, Bobby Corbin and James E. Corbin, both of Front Royal and Joe B. Corbin of Stephens City; two daughters, Bertha Foster of Chester Gap and Frances Edwards of Culpeper; two brothers, Jim Bennett and George Bennett, both of Front Royal; two sisters, Annie Hawkins of Washington and Rena Burke of Luray; 24 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchiliren; and one great-great grand:hild.

The funeral will be held June 7 at 11 a.m. at Maddox Funeral Home in Front Royal with the Rev. John Burke officiating. Burial will be in Flint Hill Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Terry Corbin, Marshall Edwards, James E. Corbin Fr., Bernie Foster, Sammy CampJell and Robert Edwards.
