The PTO, as we know it today, has probably changed a great deal from the Sperryville Community League (forerunner of the PTA) of 1945. But the commitment is still the same of the individuals that work within it. Forty-five years of community support and involvement with the schools demonstrates the character of Rappahannock's residents.
