Kathy Dwyer is a summer
work-study student in the Rappahannock County Extension Service office at Washington, in coordination with Eastern Mennonite College where she will attend school this fall. Her work will consist of 4-H Club activities. She will supervise 4-H meetings and projects during the summer. She is the daughter of Ms. Ruby Dwyer of Sperryville amd was graduated from RCHS last week.
Mary Brooke Massie of Washington was the recipient of Randolph-Macon Academy’s Kemper Memorial History Award at commencement in Front Royal recently. The award is given annually to the outstanding history scholar and was presented by the history instructor, Capt. Stephen B. Friski.
