Dancing at Blackwater Creek

The June dancing at Blackwater Creek will happen on the first Thursday, June 7 instead of the scheduled second Thursday. After June dances will continue monthly every second Thursday. Jenkins family reunion

The families of the late Aubrey and Ellen Baker Jenkins will hold their annual reunion on Sunday, June 17 at the Rappahannock Park near Washington. Middle St. Gallery classes

A Life Drawing class meets at the Gallery each Thursday from 7:30 p.m. until 9 p.m. A model is provided, each person should bring their own supplies. The fee is $10 per class. Setti's paintings shown

A one-woman exhibition of realistic landscape oil paintings by native Virginia artist Drema A. Setti is hanging in the Middle St. Gallery this month. Ms. Setti has visited several of the state’s rural, mountainous areas and produced paintings with a strong emphasis on color and spatial arrangement. Gallery hours are Friday through Sunday, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and by appointment. For information, call 675-3440.

'Sea of Love' at Theater

The movie Sea of Love will be playing at the Gay Street Theatre Saturday and Sunday, June 9 and 10 at 7:30 p.m. each evening. An exciting, erotic, heart-pounding thriller. Someone, probably a woman, is murdering men who advertise in the personals section of a New York weekly magazine. The killer has specialized taste ... she preys only on men who write their ads in verse. The movie is rated R. The theater is now air conditioned.
