More than 30 of Rappahannock’s public school teachers have started on a program that could lead them to masters’ degrees in three years.
The program is being supported jointly by the school system and Shenandoah College and Conservatory of Winchester.
The teachers will take one course per semester and at least one course during the summer taught at the high school. This semester they are taking Classroom Management/School Climate. The first class met Sept. 10.
Shenandoah arranges for teachers for the courses. Tom Woodall, principal at Lovettsville Elementary School in Loudoun County, is teaching the course this fall.
