RAPPAHANNOCK COUNTY WATER &

SEWER AUTHORITY

The Rappahannock County Water & Sewer Authority is seeking proposals to perform all necessary system analysis, design, acquisition and installation of a dechlorinator system for the Sperryville Sewage Treatment facility.

The system requirements must meet a minimum fifty-five thousand gallon per day (55k gpd) capacity and must conform to all applicable Environmental Protection Agency, Virginia Department of Health and State Water Control Board requirements, standards, and guidelines.

All work to be accomplished must be performed by a Virginia Licensed Engineer.

The procedures for competitive negotiation as outlined in the Virginia Public Procurement Act, S11-37 of the Code of Virginia, 1950 (as amended), shall apply. The Authority shall consider professional qualifications, past experience, and references as well as price in considering the proposals submitted. All proposals must be submitted to John W. McCarthy, Rappahannock County Administrator, Old Extension Office, P.O. Box 519, Washington, Virginia, 22747, so as to be received no later than 4:30 p.m., October 12 1990.
