Americans have always earned the reputation for being “goodhearted” people. The American Heart Association wants to keep us that way.
Being “good-hearted” also means having a heart that is healthy, one that keeps working the way it was designed to work. We’ve heard the cliche. . .“Have a good day.” Why a not say something new that will add to our lives? Just for a start let’s say: “Have a good heart.” There’s a lot in the world today, both at home and abroad, that might cause us to be ■ somewhat “down-hearted.” We can “ be more “up-beat” if we think “well” in our hearts and minds and stay well in our physical bodies.
