Following the morning’s activities and a packed lunch back at the park between noon and 1 p.m., there will be a hike to one of the county’s many beautiful hiking trails, Little Devil Stairs. The hike should last approximately 1:30 p.m.-5:30 p.m.
On Sunday, April 21, anyone who wishes to caravan to the U.S. Capitol for Earth Day rallys should meet at the park at 8:30 a.m., although departure time may be subject to change depending upon the updated schedule of events in the city.

On Monday, April 22, Earth Day, the Rappahannock County High Environmental Club will hold an assembly in the afternoon from 2 p.m.-2:30 p.m.
Cynthia Decanio from the Piedmont Environmental Council, and a representative from the Shenandoah National Park, will be the featured speakers. The club will announce different environmental themes for each day of “Earth Week” that students, faculty and families may support through participation.
