Also on Earth Day, Spring Mountain School will officially adopt Route 612 in Old Hollow as part of the Adopt-A-Highway program. Call 675-3612 if you or a group you know is interested in adopting a highway to keep clean.
A Virginia Department of Transporation crew will assist the Earth Day activities by providing both bags and pick-up of bags for any roads of which they are made aware.

In many ways, we serve as a model for other committees with our conscientious efforts to maintain this beauty amidst the trials of growth and change in our society and world.
