Mr. Williams was born March 21, 1901, in Rappahannock County, the son of the late Archie and Lucy Bell Williams. He retired from the Valley Milk Products after 20 years of service and owned an ice cream delivery service in Strasburg for 20 years. He was a member of the Strasburg United Methodist Church. He was the husband of the late Emma Catherine Williams.
Surviving are two sons, Douglas Williams Jr. and Jesse Williams, both of Strasburg; three daughters, Betty Whittington, Mary Bly and Jean Ingram, all of Strasburg; one sister, Jesse Robinson of Strasburg; six grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
