His performance and studio credits are extensive, but some highlights:

• “Earth Year 1990” tour to benefit the U.N. Environmental Programme.

• The score to the Broadway hit, “Bum This,” and scores to other plays and movies.

• Performance at Robert Redford’s Sundance Group.

• The original score for the American Video Award nominee “Greenpeace: Greatest Hits.”

Kater has also opened for a variety of pop music performers, including Bruce Hornsby, Dan Fogelburg, Stanley Jordan and Karla Bonoff.

The concert is sponsored by the Ki Theatre and the Mothering Coop, with help from RAAC.

Tickets are $9 in advance, $10 at the door and $7 for Mothering Co-op members. They can be purchased at Mountainside Market in Washington, the Natural Marketplace in Warrenton or at Better Thymes in Front Royal.
