Thirteen students and three faculty members from Wakefield School in Huntly returned exhausted city-slickers after an excitement-packed trip to New York. The group attended the Columbia Scholastic Press Association convention at Columbia University in order to learn about various aspects of journalism.
English Department chair Lee Buratti was accompanied by six staff members from Talisman, the school’s literary magazine.
