In a very short meeting April
8, the Washington Towij Council agreed to continue plans to drill a new well at the site coilsidered most likely to provide sufficient water by the state geologist in his study last winter. This site is located on part of the Updike farm adjoining the Rush River just outside town.
Rappahannock Counyt’s largest single employer, the Aileen Plant at Flint Hill, has gone to a four-day work week as seasonal slow-downs forced the company to lay off employees and close its cutting room here.

Linda P. Henry, a native of
Warren County, and a graduate of Marywood College with a degree in business administration, has been appointed new Agriculture Stabilization and Conservation Service director for Rappahannock County. Mrs. Henry has been a county executive director for Warren since 1974 and also is a management trainer.
Pamela R. Clater, Melissa D, Grimsley and Thomas 0. Williams, Jr., of Rappahannock have been named to the Dean’s ' List at Lord Fairfax Community College.
