North Carolina 4-H Development Fund Executive Board, participated - in the National 4-H Congress and j served as the North Carolina chairman in the 1968 National 4-H Conference.
He received a bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina and a master’s degree in public affairs from the University of Iowa. **•
He is married to Mollie Milner Capps from Raleigh and they have two children. They will live in the director’s residence at the Northern Virginia 4-H Educational Center.
Mr. Capps, who will be replacing John Dooley, will assume his new post on May 1.

'Food Fight'
The American Cancer Society celebrates its ongoing battle against cancer with the annual Great American Food Fight Against Cancer on April 18.
The society recommends a variety of dietary attacks on the disease.
