Local songwriter-composer Lorraine Duisit will make a rare solo appearance at 8 p.m. April 27 at the Theatre at Washington.
As opening artist to Peter Kater,« she is donating her time and talents to benefit the Mothering Cooperative’s upcoming volunteer community project to repair and make improvements to the Rappahannock Park playground.
As a Mothering Cooperative member and mother of a 17-monthold daughter, Ms. Duisit will feature her own compositions on a handmade 33-string Irish harp.
