The baseball team had Brentsville where they wanted them last Friday, but let a five-run fifth inning tilt the game against Rappahannock, losing 7-2 April 12.
The squad is not 1-6 in the Bull Run District, 1-7 overall.
Monday’s ^ scheduled game against Central was cancelled on account of rain. The team plays Page County at home at 5 p.m. Friday, April 19.
Softball now 3-5
The Rappahannock High girls’ softball team beat Brentsville 11-5 last Friday to up their mark to 3-3 in the Bull Run District, 3-5 overall.
Angela Pullen went 3-for-4 at the plate, and Emma Swatman was 3for-5.
The girls travel to avenge their earlier loss against Strasburg on Wednesday and then play Page at home at 5 p.m. Friday.
