The Parent Teacher Association
of Rappahannock County Elementary School will meet Wednesday, April 21 at the school. The program will be concerned with Mental Health and the topic for discussion will be “Fears of Parents and Children.”
The Rappahannock League for Environmental Protection was accepted for membership in the Conservation Council of Virginia at its recent Spring Meeting in Annandale. The local group thus becomes affiliated with nearly forty organizations totalling over 200,000 members throughout Virginia.

Most of the apple crop in
Rappahannock County was wiped out this past weekend when a killing frost froze the apple blossoms that were almost in full bloom. According to some estimates, more than 90 percent of the crop was destroyed when temperatures in the area dropped into the low twenties.
