Arts group get-together

The Rappahannock Association for the Arts and the Community (RAAC) wants representatives of county arts and community groups to hold informal, bimonthly meetings at the Woodsmoke Cafe in Sperryville. The first such get-together will be 4 p.m. Saturday, April 20.

Steeplechasing in Mtddleburg

The Virginia steeplechasing circuit may have left Rappahannock for the season, but the racing is by no means over. This weekend the Fairfax Hunt Point-toPoint is Saturday at Belmont Plantation in Leesburg and the Middleburg Spring Sanctioned Races are Sunday at Glenwood Park.
