Mr. Jenkins was bom Dec. 28, 1899, in Rappahannock County, the son of the late Lewis and Ida Johns Jenkins. He was a retired mechanic from the American Viscose and a groundskeeper for many area residents. He was the husband of the late Mozelle Mae Estes Jenkins.
Surviving are two sons, David T. Jenkins and Timothy Wayne Morris, both of Front Royal; three daughters, Ann J. Pickrell of Front Royal, Gertrude Morris of Waynesboro and Marie Parks of Winchester; 18 grandchildren; and a number of great-grandchildren.
Maddox Funeral Home in Front Royal was in charge of the arrangements.
