Water Authority
fails to attain
meeting quorum
The county Water and Sewer Authority was unable to meet this month because of the lack of a quorum.
Members Carson Johnson and Charles K. “Pete” Estes waited in front of the courthouse last Thursday for a third member to arrive and finally left.
They said there were bills to be paid and correspondence to respond to. They also said they had been approached by someone who had asked if it would be possible to reserve 20 or more sewer taps.
