Sperryville businesses celebrate
Sales, crafts and entertainment await those who venture into Sperryville for the town's annual Memorial Day Festival, 10 a.m.-6 p.m. May 23-25.
Every member of the Sperryville Business Council, which puts on the annual celebration, will be holding one or more special events for the three days.
Other attractions include children's games, pony rides, craft demonstrations, homemade food at several locations, and more.
Equalization Board wraps up
The Rappahannock Board of Equalization has heard all complaints about the fairness of reassessments. The board is giving landowners one last chance to be heard. Notice of an additional hearing date can be found inside this issue of the paper.
