In fire department news, Custom Cruisers will hold their annual car show this weekend, May 23 and 24 at Amissville Fire Department carnival grounds on U S. 211. For more details, call Scott Hensley at 9374577.
Fire Chief J.B. Carter advises that the department sent out over 2,000 letters several weeks ago during their annual fund drive. 186 responses have been received donating $7,780 to the Department.
