After losing its last game of the year to Strasburg last week, a 6-4 disappointment that ruined the girls’ perfect season, the Lady Panthers head into the four-team Bull Run District Tournament as the heavily favored top seed.
Regardless how the team does in the tournament, Rappahannock will still get a first-round bye in the regional tournament, and will host the second round game. That is by virtue of their regular-season finish.
Rappahannock will host a game on Thursday, May 28, and possibly the regional final, Friday, May 29. The state tournament, if they make it that far, will be June 6-6.
