The Town Council had to carefully weave together elements of its agenda last Wednesday night in order to accomplish what everyone wanted to accomplish. In the process it left some members of the council and most members of the Rappahannock Citizens League baffled.
The Citizens League had applied for a subdivision under the 1981 Subdivision Ordinance for property it owns on the Fodderstack Road across from the First Baptist Church. The group wants to sell off a lot and keep part of the property for parking for the church.
It won approval for the subdivision
