Diet Pepsi will sponsor a comprehensive Designated Driver Program for “Vintage Virginia ’92” - the 11th Annual Virginia Wineries Festival.
A 1989 Gallup poll found that nearly two-thirds of adults who drink designate a non-drinking driver when attending Bocial events where alcoholic beverages are served - a responsible choice that will be promoted by Diet Pepsi with complimentary PepsiCola products for all designated drivers 21 years ami older at “Vintage Virginia *92.”
All “Vintage Virginia *92” designated drivers will receive a brightly-colored plastic wristband as they enter the festival. The wristband will then entitle designated drivers to complimentary PepsiCola soft drinks at booths located throughout the festival site. Although designated drivers will not be able to sample wines at the event, they will be able to purchase unopened bottles and take part in all of the festival Ain - wine education seminars, jazz, folk and reggae music, arts, crafts and great food - the only catch is that they will have to wait to enjoy their fine Virginia wines.
