Orville Rush
Orville Findley Rush, 82, died at his residence, Jessamine Hill Farm, Washington on May 12.
Mr. Rush, formerly from McLean was a prominent business executive and lawyer. He served on numerous board of directors, was a 33rd degree Mason and Imperial Potentate of Shriners Hospitals and Burns Institutes.
The Rush family purchased Jessamine Hill Farm eight years ago.
He is survived by his wife of over 50 years, Mary Wren Rush; six children, Penny Rush-Grant and Pamela Wren Grant, also of Jessamine Hill Farm, Orville Findley Rush Jr. of Kitty Hawk, N.C., Frank A. Rush of Ringwood, N.J., Kingsley Rush of Montana and Patricia Rush Smith of Reston; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren..
Private services were held Saturday, May 16 at Everly Funeral Home in Fairfax.
Rosie Jenkins
Rosie Lee Jenkins, 90, of McLean, formerly of Culpeper, widow of William Norris Jenkins, died Thursday, May 14 at Northern Virginia Doctors Hospital in Arlington.
She was the daughter of the late James and Anna Mae Martin of Culpeper County.
She is survived by a son, William T. Jenkins Sr. of Herndon; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
She had made her home recently with a grandson, Martin Vaine Willis.
Funeral services were held Sunday, May 17 at Geest-Johnson Funeral Home in Culpeper with the Rev. Thomas Everett officiating. Interment was in Fairview Cemetery in Culpeper.
Pallbearers were Manuel Settle, William Settle, Ronnie Medley, William Starter, Burgess Settle and Kenny Settle.
