This was followed by stories about some of the great Olympic athletes of the past. He also included stories about John Henry and McBroom. The children really got involved in making up their own story about a great race between an airplance and a race car.

On July 29, Beth Levick accompanied and led the audience in singing some favorite songs - “Eensy, weensy spider,” “Who stole the cookies,” and “The worm song.” An echo song was used to introduce some musical concepts to the children. After several children drew pictures, Beth showed them how to sing their drawings. Everyone enjoyed this musical program.
