The lawn of the old Warren Green Hotel is a beautiful setting to hear a concert. People attending the concerts are encouraged to contribute $3 per person towards the cost of the evening. There is plenty of parking available, and local streets are closed to vehicular traffic during a concert.

Families are encouraged to bring a blanket or lawn chairs and a picnic if they like. Delicious homemade refreshments will be available at intermission prepared by volunteers from the Jaycees. There will be special doorprizes at the concert provided by Warrenton businesses.

The Johnson Mountain Boys will be performing this weekend at local nursing homes and hospitals as part of the Bluemont Concert Series community benefit program. These performances continue throughout the year. For more information contact Peter Dunning at 703-777-6306.

This performance is the sixth of a series of 10 Warren Green Concerts. The Warren Green Concerts are presented by the Bluemont Concert Series in partnership with the County of Fauquier, the Town of Warrenton and a broad base of businesses, community groups and individuals here in Warrenton.

This series is part of regional project of courthouse concerts supported by community partnerships in Culpeper, Leesburg, Warrenton, Luray, Orange and Winchester.
