Spectators, above, at the Flint Hill Fireman’s Parade last Thursday had mixed reactions to the blast of the sirens from the fire trucks. While some remained unruffled by the loud noise, one young boy with sensitive ears appeared to wish he was someplace else. After the parade, the fun continued for those brave enough to try the Super Slide. The Flint Hill Carnival and Parade drew record crowds this year and organizers declared it a great success.
